Clinical Interests
As a psychotherapist, I work with many adult clients who are trying to change their substance use, people who have been through significant trauma or abuse, and people who want more stability in their lives. I love to discuss mindfulness and acceptance, and my job is to help create a safe space to heal, connect, and move forward. My talk therapy approach includes acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy. I also teach a light-touch acupressure method called the emotional freedom technique for processing pain, anxiety, and trauma.
Hobbies
I am a musician and I enjoy the outdoors by biking, hiking, camping, and going to the beach. I practice meditation on my own time and enjoy spending time with my partner, family, friends, and cats.
