The Girard House provides customized living services to male adults experiencing severe mental illness. These services emphasize developing independent living skills and management of mental health symptoms.

Who we serve

We serve male adults who are 18+ years old with a serious and persistent mental illness.

Services we provide

Clients receive the following services, education and support through this program: management of medication and mental health symptoms, independent living skill development, community integration, and crisis intervention and prevention.

About the process

To be eligible for services, individuals must have a mental health diagnosis, have Medical Assistance and be eligible for the CADI (Community Access for Disability Inclusion) or BI (Brain Injury) waiver.

About our fees

Clients can apply for GRH (Group Residential Housing Support), which provides a reduced housing rate and the CADI or BI waiver helps pay for the cost of other mental health services.
