Central Access is the first point-of-contact to help connect the dots of People Incorporated services and operations for our consumers, communities and our co-workers.
Who we serve
We serve our internal and external communities and stakeholders by supplying them with the information they may need to help consumers navigate the Mental Health system. We serve potential consumers find the appropriate whole health care they need to live in their communities as independently as possible.
The goal we set
Central Access’s goal is to answer each call live, speak with the caller to assess the caller’s need, and connect callers with the services and resources they are looking for.
About the process
When Central Access receives a call from a potential consumer we assess the services the caller is asking for, determine if an intake into our CCBHC programs is needed, if so – we explain the intake process and transfer them to one of our intake specialist. If the caller needs services outside of our CCBHC model of care, we transfer them to that particular program. If the caller needs services that People Incorporated does not provide, we do our best to find information for them regarding that service and give the caller phone numbers.
About our staff
Central Access staff consists of navigation specialists along with intake specialists.
