Client Testimonial

I had been homeless for two years when I got involved with People Incorporated. Now I have my own apartment, I’m working on my GED, and I’m planning to go to college and then find work. I’m just so grateful.

Ways to Give

Thank you for your interest in supporting compassionate mental health care in your community. There are many ways to make a financial impact.

If you have questions about giving to a specific program or what giving tools might be available to you for your financial situation, please contact our Development team at [email protected] or 651-774-0011.

Give online, by mail, or by phone

  • You can make a one-time or monthly sustaining gift online using our easy online giving form.
  • Mail a check payable to People Incorporated, 3000 Ames Crossing Road, Suite 600, Eagan, MN 55121
  • Make a gift by phone by calling 651-774-0011 and asking to speak to a member of the Development team.

Stock gifts

Gifts of stock are a great way to both maximize your donation and minimize your tax burden.

Contact your financial advisor to give them the following stock transfer information:

  • Raymond James Financial Services/Bremer Investment Services Account: 31434604 (People Incorporated Mental Health Services) DTC: 0725

You will receive an acknowledgment letter indicating the number of shares, the name of the stock, and the stock transfer date for a gift for tax purposes.

Workplace giving

Workplace-giving programs are an easy way to make a gift to People Incorporated. Simply sign up for your company’s workplace giving campaign and designate it to People Incorporated. Our EIN number is 41-0962296. You can use automatic payroll deductions to make regular gifts.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. In addition, if you volunteer with us, your employer may also provide us with a grant as a way to recognize your ongoing support!

Gifts from your estate or will

People Incorporated has many options for individuals to make a lasting legacy through gifts, avoid probate, and make an impact through wills, trusts, or beneficiary designations. In addition, you can also establish a contract that allows you to make a donation that pays you income for life or create a contract to transfer certain assets from a business or property to the organization upon death.

Gifts from your IRA

If you are age 70 ½ or older, you can donate directly from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA). A “Qualified Charitable Distribution” (QCD) allows each individual to make a distribution of up to $100,000 from their IRA each year. This giving option could help you lower the fair market value of your IRA, thus lowering future required minimum distributions. It can also be a great avenue for lowering your taxable income if you already planned to make charitable giving a part of your family’s plan for caring for the community. Even more, by lowering your taxable income, you can also save money on Medicare Part B premiums.

To make a QCD, please give your financial advisor People Incorporated’s address and our federal tax ID (EIN):

                People Incorporated
                EIN: 41-0962296
                3000 Ames Crossing Rd, #600
                Eagan, MN 55121

To learn more about these options, visit our Legacy Giving page.

Make a gift in honor of a birthday, anniversary, wedding, or any other special occasion. Gifts can also be made in memory of loved ones. People Incorporated will send a special note to the person or family you choose to honor if you provide us with contact info for them.
