Corrections Integrated Support

One-third of people incarcerated in Minnesota county jails may be struggling with a mental illness, and many others are undiagnosed. They need help, but often there are too few resources available. The Corrections Integrated Support program gives those in the criminal justice system who experience mental illness access to a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals who support the client’s overall wellness during and after incarceration. Our county jail partners refer clients once there is an identified mental health concern.

  • Collaborate with the corrections system to increase access to mental health and substance use services
  • Support overall health and recovery throughout post-transition release, including mental health assessments, employment, and
housing support, educational counseling, and more
  • Decrease reoffending & recidivism
