This class delivers a broad understanding of the 10 personality disorders. We start by looking at how psychologists define and assess personality in general, then compare that to personalities that are considered disordered. One area where people with personality disorders have problems is in their relationships with other people, including workers who are trying to help them. We take a look at and practice communication techniques using case studies to more effectively work with people with these disorders.
