2021 Artability Art Show Virtual Showcase

About the 2021 Artability Art Show Virtual Edition

Our virtual show reflected on the events of 2020 and how art, thoughtful conversations, and coming together as a community helped us to continue to heal, learn and grow.

Watch the virtual edition to listen to the heartfelt stories of six Artability artists as they reflect on their experiences creating art, discussing how they can be therapeutic and a means for community healing:

-Saber DeMare
-Kris Lange
-Davida Kilgore
-Della Rootues
-Jessica Shao
-Eric Weber

The keynote speaker, Greta McLain, a South Minneapolis community muralist, and public artist, shared their story and experiences as an artist, revealing how the power of visual language can activate our voices, leading to advocacy and change.

Thank you to the supporters of our Artability Workshop programming: E.A. Michelson, the Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment, and the Harlan Boss Foundation for the Arts.
