People Incorporated Housing with Services in Ramsey County is a licensed Customized Living program, offering persons with serious and persistent mental illness the opportunity to live semi-independently within three registered housing with services sites: Ruth House, Edgebrook House, and Londin Place.
Who we serve
Edgebrook House and Londin Place (for women 18+), and Ruth House (for men 18+) serve those in Ramsey County who have a diagnosis of serious and persistent mental illness and qualify for CADI. Clients who have basic independent living skills or are willing to work with staff to learn these skills are accepted.
The goals we set
Increased independence is the measure of success at our houses. Clients of Ruth, Edgebrook and Londin are in the customized living program to utilize the skills they have and to receive support in areas of need in order that they might live in this community setting rather than a more restrictive setting.
Services we provide
Clients of these houses participate in daily living activities and chores (cooking, cleaning, menu planning) with support from the staff. Staff and clients also have house meetings each month that provide staff and clients the opportunity to express and discuss concerns, questions, ideas and plans. The staff provides assistance with medication monitoring, meal planning, grocery shopping, housekeeping skills, socialization, problem solving, learning, crisis prevention/intervention and arranging for transportation, appointment scheduling, one on one interactions and general check in. Individual programs can be discussed prior to admission.
About our location
The environment for care at Ruth, Edgebrook and Londin is one that fosters as much independence for clients as possible. All homes are located in St. Paul, MN near Battle Creek Park in close proximity to parks, biking/walking trails, bus lines, businesses, shopping and restaurants.
