Artability On the Go: Art-A-Whirl

Date: May 20th, 2017
Time: 11:30am-2:00pm

Please join us for Art-A-Whirl, an annual artist open studio tour put on by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association. Art-A-Whirl provides us with an opportunity to see inside of hundreds of artist studios to see a diverse array of art work all in one place. It is the largest open studio tour in the country! Although Art-A-Whirl has many buildings open for the weekend-long festival, we will be touring just one of them, The California Building. If you would like to tour additional buildings during the festival you are welcome to do so on your own. The California Building is handicap accessible and has Mojo Coffee on the main floor, so you are welcome to purchase a snack or beverage before or after our tour. We look forward to viewing and discussing the art together as a group!

Note: Please arrive between 11:30am and 12:00pm. We will do our meet and greet in the main lobby of the California Building from 11:30am-12:00pm. We will explore the building for two hours from 12:00pm-2:00pm. The main lobby entrance is on California Street and has a sign that says “No Place Like This.” The handicap accessible entrance is on the parking lot side of the building.
